That's true - when you enable wifi from the camera menu there is a warning that movie mode is disabled.
In either the manual or on one of the devices I thought I saw that you can not use the wifi to transfer previous shot video from the camera to your other device. Although in the Andriod Market the EOS Remote does mention transferring video. I haven't tried so I don't know which is correct in that respect.
