picture IQ........RX100 VS RX1

To be fair it is still a very new camera so while you might be able to find a ton of photos that justify the price of, say, a Canon 5d3 with 35 1.4L, there aren't that many RX1's out in the wild yet. And I'm thinking it's more niche so there are fewer photographers using them.

I'm not defending the camera and I think you're totally entitled to your thoughts about it of course. Just saying that demanding photographic proof of its value as an investment might be a bit premature. In a few months if there aren't any shots you consider good out there that'd be something different.
