I am working on a specification for a major upgrade of my existing computer.
I have several questions and to make answering easy for the forum I am limiting myself to one question per thread.
My motherboard choice at this point is a Gigabyte GA-Z77X UD5H or something equivalent.
This board supports mSATA and has two additional regular SATA 3 connections.
My question is:
Why would I consider installing a SSD on one of the internal SATA 3 connections over getting a mSATA drive and keeping the internal SATA connections available for large HDs?
Thanks, Floyd

Newbie, having fun.
The UD5H has 9 internal SATA connections 4 are SATA 3 if you use the mSATA then one of the SATA 3 connectors is disabled. You would the mSATA so that you don't use a 3.5inch drive bays freeing room in the case or just because you can and its cool to play with new tech toys.
