That's a nice looking setup.  The photos are very good also...nice colors.  I hadn't thought of using a flash for my macro pictures previously.  With the brand I was using before and a telephoto lens, I was able to take photos of flying insects rather well, but I had to have good sunlight.  I like your idea of using a flash.
