BAK, im currently with no camera to test it, and i dont really know the sizes of the softbox's
but i do need to have a general working plan,
If i understand you correctly your suggesting something that looks like this:
The white wall can be used as a reflector i suppose,
I want to share with you another 2 ideas:
1.Using Lastolite HiLite Bacgkround as the main light on the left side of the wall - i think it may save space as its basically combining a strobe+softbox and it will be 90° to the doll, providing a hard contrast look for the cloths + can use the other wall as reflector
Idea 2:
Buying(or building) a giant light cube like this one

Which of the 3 options you believe would yield the highest quality photographs?
I even started to fantasize that with such space saving setups - perhaps i could shot the cloths on a model as well?
