Another G15 price drop ?

That's true. I haven't tested the G15's IS performance, but I have done so with my RX100 and I am sure the G15 gives 2 stops advantage for stationary subjects.

I was just comparing the RX100 with my older cameras and the RX100 is clearly the worst of the bunch. Best IS (and also lens) is on my (fairly old now) Panasonic TZ7. I can take sharp 0.5sec handheld, easily. Too bad its lens motor stopped working properly some time ago and it takes a long time to focus nowadays.Then it's my Canon SX220, followed by my old G7. Last and by far worse is the RX100 in this respect. No matter how hard I tried, 1/6-1/8 sec is the limit. All the others can go to 1/2sec with a steady hand, sitting down of leaning somewhere.
