Another G15 price drop ?

The RX100 was £580 initially in Jessops. You cannot compare a mature product like the RX100 with a new release and the RX100 is currently selling at the opening price of the other premium compacts. The G15 is very much out on its own limb. Sony might have to drop its price further as whilst it has the big sensor it is pretty rudimentary on the controls and accessories front which may limit its appeal in the super compact market. I struggle to see how the RX100 is relevant to a G15 thread. The RX100 is in a class of 1 which is no bad thing.
