More D600 vs. D700 dynamic range in the shadows

In your test the D700 received half the light relative to D600. So may I suggest a different method of comparing?

1. Set the appropriate preferred aperture (same dof for both).
2. Set the appropriate shutter speed (same motion blur for both).
3. Set the iso in each camera in such a way that the highlights will be rendered the same.
4. Compare the shadows.

(A note: setting the same shutter speed is more important that setting the same iso).
