Want FX but not impressed by D800 build quality

I used to have a D200 and now have a D800, and they are both fully magnesium alloy bodies, but it is the D800 that is the much more solid, obviously nicer camera of the two. I'm not sure why the D800 gave you a "sense of plastic" and the D200 didn't, but if that's the case the only alternative is to either try to find a used D700 (however it's similar to the D800), a D3s or buy a new D4.

Not sure what you want people here to tell you, but since this is your very first post on DPR, is there any chance you're just trolling.  I mean "D200 good, D800 bad"?  Seriously?
