the rebate you mention seems to require the purchase of 50 sheets of canon semi gloss paper which is $93. So the rebate is cancelled out by the paper purchase. Do you know of another rebate that comes with the printer only ? if so i will certainly use that.

otherwise are you familiar with that paper from canon ? given it is free with rebate it is worth getting if it is a paper which is enjoyable to use.
