NIKON P7700 - Big Dissappointment Locked

How do you figure? It's the only enthusiast compact that goes to 200mm, so F4 there is pretty darn good. As I stated in a post a month ago, please point me to the Nikon or Canon 135 format zoom lens with similar specs. It doesn't exist at any price.

And the IQ of this camera is excellent, IMO, for the record.

The first post in this thread is not an honest critique of a product. It is a laundry list dismissing almost every feature of the camera, without any evidence or justification or thoughtful criticism. If I went on the Canon forum and said in one post that the G15 lens sucks, af sucks, ergonomics suck, menus suck, etc, I would expect the same negative (deserved) reaction. If you can't see that, I can't help you.
