I would also like to note in my opinion against the Giottos MH-1000 ball head.I have a problem with it in the vertical position "Drifting"after I set the camera, I emailed Giotto's and they told me that it had a problem drifting... And recommended another company. Given l have the heavy Nikon D3 but that should not matter.
