What mode is your camera most often in? Why?

Any of P, A, S and M, plus exposure comp, can be used to get to any shutter speed and aperture combination.  In every case, you can get to the desired result by turning one or two dials.

I like A, because I usually care more about DOF than shutter speed. Many sports photographers use A because setting the widest aperture results in the fastest shutter speed for a given exposure level.
