For how long will the 6D RAW files not be supported by Adobe?

I am hearing that we might have to wait for longer than 2 months. Is that true?

i understand that DPP can read the 6D RAW files, but this would invalidate my current workflow. Where can one find the official release date of the version of ACR and LR that will finally support it?
