What mode is your camera most often in? Why?

He uses P mode most of the time, you can adjust A & S in P mode so why would you need A or S mode at all.

Plus in P mode the camera compares the scene with 30,000 stored images to determine the best exposure and there is no delay while you adjust your M adjustments.

PS: I also know an experienced club photographer who produces lovelly prints who never compensates in camera, he prefers to do any adjustments in post.

I think P is misunderstood by a lot of Digicam users. The only setting i never use would be A. I think it stands for Absolutely no control over camera exposure.

Agreed, Program mode together with Program shift is very versatile..although I use other modes, my "default" setting is P.

What is program shift ? that isn't a nikon term!!??
