NIKON P7700 - Big Dissappointment Locked

I also use the P7700. I don't know the LX5, my comparison points are the Canon G10 and a large number of DSLRs/DSLTs I own or owned in the past.

Based on my experience with these cameras, I think that the P7700 stands up pretty well even against serious DSLRs (of course, taking into account the different sensor sizes and different typs of technology).

In the end, I won't agree with any of your statements about the P7700 except for your comment about the focal range. Of course, there are some points I would like to see improved, but overall my impression about the P7700 is very positive.
