Daughters image for retouch..

I just updated from Photoshop Elements 8 to 11 and was experimenting with the new levels of control in the filters. It is a definite improvement over version 8. A couple of new features and a subtle but real increase in control of finer details. Was worth the $50.

First I worked on bringing up brightness of the image. I couldn't get the color to do anything I liked so I got rid of it. Then I started playing with pen and ink filters. This is a new one for me, called Graphic Novel. I have always liked this style. It kind of reminds me of the graphics on the front page of the old Wall Street Journal.
