D90 - is this OOC JPEG typical of its Auto White Balance . . .

Regardless of what kind of light bulb was used, the camera ought to get closer than this in auto mode. That said, it seems like most cameras have problems with tungsten light in auto WB mode.

It only takes a few seconds to do a custom white balance and then the color should be spot on. Try that some time and see how it works with tungsten light.
