This lens is a give-away.  It's known as the "nifty fifty" and should be in everyone's kit.   True, it is all plastic, including the mount, but optically it's way up there.   If you are using an APS-C camera, it is equivalent to an 80mm on a film camera, just ideal for portraits or landscapes.     Buy it!    You won't find anything like it anywhere else for such a cheap price.
