(Olympus) Blue Landscape & Cityscape

REcently there was a thread about "the mythical" Olympus Blue:

I've always like the colours from my Olympus cameras, but why do people always talk about those blues, and not the yellows, reds, or the purples oranges and greens?

Well, maybe because BLUE, when it is predominantly present in natural circumstances, is such a smooth and soothing colour.

These two photos are from early one morning and late one afternoon, the first in the Cévennes region of France, the second in my hometown, Antwerp (both with Oly SLR).  I thought they were actually quite similar, despite the obvious diversity.
