You probably need to give a little more info. Where is New York, finger lakes nature shots, or New York City, Manhattan, lot of tall buildings?
I don't see a lens list in your gear, so I'm not sure what you have. Are you mainly shooting during the day, low light night shots, or both.
Downtown Manhattan. Day, nights, everything. First time in the Big Apple. Very excited!

OK, you still didn't give a lens list. Not sure why you only want to take one lens, I would at least take a zoom and a small prime. Depending on what you have, make sure you at least have something on the wide end,.. 16~17 min.
