Dear all, I will be visiting Moscow next week, and temperatures are extremely low (around -10 to -15 degrees C or 14 to 5 degrees F). I am wondering whether I should get my 1D X with me. Is there a chance to cause some damage to the camera or lenses?

There is always the chance your 1D takes damage, but it seems the 1D series can take much more than the temperatures you expect: See:

It's in german, but in one of the photos you can see a totally frozen 1Dx that still works.
