From just sitting? No, no drain but the battery life is overall not that great. Are you charging from the wall charger or usb? If USB I'd try the wall charger. Other than that I'm of no help.

I have original Sony battery, charged with wall charger. Battery was fully charged Monday - I took a few pics next day and battery is empty today (Friday)

THAT is just simply not right !!... I got my RX-100 late September.. now over two months ago..first charge needed of course.. but since then I've only charged it twice.. and I KNOW mine is good for AT LEAST 400+ pics.. it just doesn't - shouldn't - do that which you say.

Try this.. Put what you believe to be a fully charged battery in camera. run off about say 20 pics or so - anything really to get pic-shots on it... TAKE OUT THE BATTERY and leave the camera OFF for the same couple of days or so. Put the Battery back in.. is it showing (what should be) as good as full charge.. if not - it's th Battery self-draing of course for some reason.

Same as Eric, I find the battery life excellent, easily 400 shots. In between shooting doesn't appear to affect my batteries either (1 Sony, 2 generic).
