Lens advice needed

You need minimum 200 mm and above range. Good optics are not cheap. You can try Nikon's 55-200 or 55-300 lenses, they are pretty cheap. I wonder with D3100 and with these lenses how far one can reach in sports photography. Please share some images once you have your gears.
