Rumor: Apple Joins Google in Bid For Kodak Patents

Wow didn't see this one coming. From the article at Bllomberg"

"The two companies, competing for dominance of the smartphone market, have partnered after leading two separate consortia this summer to buy Kodak’s 1,100 imaging patents, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the process is private. "

The dismantling is still so painful for me. I almost bought an old Kodak Starmatic yesterday but it uses 127 film. 127 is being made again but it's crazy expensive for just one roll. The Starmatic would be nice on the shelf to look at, but personally I would rater use old cameras that I buy.
