Sony's new flash hotshoe design WORST design I have ever seen in a flash

Ouch………hat doesn’t look good to me.

I keep a flash in my coat pocket and the cap off of my a850 so I can pop my 58 on quickly as needed.

I agree from what I see in the photo that it would likely catch on a tread in my pocket and get damaged.

Camera performance has gotten so close that its just the little things like this that could keep someone from buying Sony…….

For me, I’m waiting to see if RRS makes a L-bracket for the a99 and if not them Kirk as I have a lot of ball heads and brackets from RRS that need that bracket to work as they currently do on my a850.
