In my opinion, the XF1 is about 80% of the X10.  The lens very quickly zooms to maximum aperture of f4.0 and higher which makes it 1 to 2 stops less on the low light end, and this is actually quite a big deal for me.  I can't say for certain, but on my model, I think that the white balance is not quite as true in indoor light.  It seems more yellow.  It does not feel as solid as the X10, and I much prefer having the exposure compensation as a dial rather than button and scroll wheel.  These shortcomings are only partially remedied by the smaller size and pocketability.
