That post described pretty much what I did. I bought a really bad strobe-- couldn't get a Nikon in timer-- the strobe took so long to recycle that it was useless so I used the built in on my d800. I tried, as much as possible to use available light and did an "OK" job. Shot in RAW plus jpeg. Out of 360 shots, I ended up with about 150 usable-- few really super, but got all of the "money" shots (for which I'm not being paid.

All-in-all, it worked out but I wouldn't want to do it for a living. I'll stick with landscape and nature. Thanks again for all of the advice. It truly helped.
