Well said! I am one of those rare people that own both Panny and Oly bodies and I mix and match lenses all the time. Shockingly too I enjoy the products from both companies. This forum provides a lot of comparisons and dialogue that I find helpful when looking at new products.

I don't think it is so rare I own both two :

I  started with an E-P1no knowing nothing about Panasonic, learned here hat Panasonic at the I'm was offering more reactive bodies ith E-VF and got an end of life discounted G1 at a bargain pricthein year later, I updated to the G3, but didn't like the handling and got an E-P3 plus VF as I prefer the handling and the E-P3 was the first Olympus body to offer a reactive AF and fast operations, plus a great VF and OLED. The I got the E-M5 for the much improved sensor. I'm very happy with those cameras an don't plan to get other Panasonic bodies, but I have several Panasonic lenses and want to be able to follow what both manufacturers are at.

So, no, I don't want to see a split of his forum : I don't want to have to visit two forums with overlapping discussions.

This is an old debate and there is a concensus in the forum about that : Each time a new comer, or a fanboy starts this discussion again, the result is the same : don't split the forum and it is not a tight result justifying the resurgence of the theme, but a clear one.
