from what I read, the cropping and the flare would be the two major things to work on my next shoot.

as far as Flare in concerned, I didn't heve any gobo between my background lights and my camera so that should, in theory, help solve that part.

For the cropping, I guess paying attention and shooting more will probably help with that.
