Hi,

Can you please share your views of what you think of the below Canon Lens. I want to buy a new lens for my Canon 60D, and need it to be wide angle to take picture in low night condition (e.g. northern light).

What do you think of the choices below or sugguestion? To be honest aside from you can zoom, are there any noticeable differences in terms of performances?

ef 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM
ef 14mm f2.8L II USM
ef 20mm f2.8L USM
ef 16-35mm f2.8L II USM

Thanks

Cyrus

Consider the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 none of the ones you listed is very wide.

Also shoot on a tripod.  I prefer ballheads.  Depending on where you live, the OBeN line from B&H is nice for the price.

See my plan (in my profile) for what I shoot with. See my gallery for images I find amusing.
