Train leaving the station, the speed of the train would be between a brisk walk and a run. Camera set at Spd Priority Cont and AF-C. Focus point is set to the middle of the frame.
I will not entertain any requests to re-do this shot standing in the middle of the tracks aiming the camera head on to the oncoming train...









Someone would probably ask about EVF lag and all that, but I didn't have any issues with that. Probably because I am used to EVF, having a A55 and also because "Spd Priority Cont" mode is insanely fast, the buffer was full in no time.
Hopefully these images will help you judge if PDAF is a gimmick on the NEX-6.
