Difference in High ISO quality using continuous shooting modes in NEX-6
Dec 7, 2012

Just noticed a bizarre phenomenon on my newly bought NEX-6 and I'm sure most of you wouldn't notice this until u try to shoot in continuous drive mode(either slow or fast) and compare the IQ(OOC JPEG) with the ones shot in single shot mode. You will find the High ISO noise pattern, especially at 3200-25600, looks worse in continuous drive mode. It became more apparent when u shoot iso 6400 and above.

I only realised this after I swap for another new copy. Seems to be some kind of electrical interference that causes it I'm not very sure. Hopefully it only happens to OOC-jpeg as I haven't actually try shooting RAW to see if the disturbing noise pattern does affect RAW IQ as well. Give me a shoutout if any of you found out the same phenomenon as mine.
