Actually, the images are on the soft side, though only 2MP in size. Both Panasonic telezooms are known to be soft on the long end. Overall, they look normally exposed, though the whites are washed out with virtually no details, like those two images above.

While there could be more microdetails, they are in fact quite nicely handled. But they are definitely at the edge with one channel in the 253 range at times. Uncalibrated monitors, and especially TN panels are going to have trouble with these for sure. They don't look good on mine, but on my main photography monitor, a hardware calibrated IPS panel, they look nice if a little bright.

Thanks, in fact I've checked the histogram and the whites are almost gone but not quite.  My monitor is calibrated with Colormunki Photo though.
