HVL-F60M with RX1

Just got my RX1 and flash and can't figure out how to get the flash to work remotely. The RX1 is set to wireless flash with the F60M docked and set to remote. It works fine when docked but as soon as it's undocked, I can't get it to fire. I've tried with the built-in flash in both positions. Any help would be appreciated...
