There's a good bit of evidence. There was an executive at olympus who said as much.

no he did not... this was alleged by one source and that source since then removed the allegations - now you left with only references to that allegation, but there is no original source - otherwise you can post an URL... like I did to Panasonic Q&A session with Imaging Resource

so where is the original report from that press conference where Olympus executive allegedly said something, dear ? where is the transcript ? nowhere, because he did not say anything that was falsely alleged

I'm going to reiterate that I don't really think it's worth arguing about, but it's clear, at least from this point forward, that there is an agreement between Sony and Olympus and that Sony will be supplying sensors to Olympus.

so true and Sony supplied sensors to Olympus and they both illustrated which cameras received those sensors during a joint press conference... here it is for you, directly from that press conference (when EM5 was already on sale for several month) :

do yourself a favor - find EM5 there...

Do yourself a favor - find TG-820 iHS here - which has the same sensor as TG-1 iHS which IS here. As a bunch other Olympus cameras.

Do us a favor - how you came to the wrong conclusion that ALL Olympus cameras with Sony sensors will be shown on the slide having space only for two?

do yourself a favor and understand that such joint press conferences are marketing events where significant examples of joint work are displayed... and yes, the two most significant Olympus cameras using Sony sensors were displayed... but not EM5, which is the most significant Olympus camera, but... not with Sony sensor
