Thanks all! These two were the answers I was looking for I didn't know RAWs have an embedded jpg and I didn't know about camera profiles either. As profile I didn't have any other option but 'Adobe Standard'. I downloaded the profiles for my NEX-5N and that'll probably help a lot.
