Purchasing from B&H

Looking to purchase the 7D body and the 15-85mm lens.  Live in CA and debating whether to purchase from B&H (online) v. Canoga Camera (long time local camera store).  I've always purchased my equipment from Canoga Camera, but this is a considerable savings.

B&H               Canoga Camera

7D Body         $1279               $1399

15-85mm         $659               $699

Overall savings with B&H is $160, plus another $198 in not having to pay tax.  $358 total savings.

Is there anything to be concerned of when purchasing from B&H?  I've heard some stories of people living in the USA not getting "USA" equipment.  Is this an issue? How is their customer service/returns if there's an issue?
