Who's going to make the next RX100?

Back when the LX3 took off with resounding success, the $400-500 compact with a fast lens segment rolled in with a bang. Within a couple years we had the LX5, XZ-1, S90/95, TL500 and even the X10 and now even the new Canon G series and Nikon P7000s have fast zooms .
So now that Sony seems to have one-upped this segment with a fast lens AND a much bigger sensor in a small body, does anyone else think it is only a matter of time before a copycat emerges? Who do you think would be likely to jump in to this segment? Being able to sell a $600 compact very well much be appealing when they practically have to give away regular compacts now.
