I really am not sure how listening for a beep and a human reacting and hitting a timer can give accurate results within these narrow timings. I have to say that I cannot compare all these cameras, but in comparing the 6d and the 5dmk3 in a gloomy room this evening, the 5d3 still feels noticeably snappier. In 'normal' daylight there is no doubt whatsoever that whilst the 6d is not bad, it is definitively beaten by the 5dIII. You do need to bear in mind that the 5d3 uses a different focusing method with a translucent screen and therefore the viewfinder flashes rather than the red highlight of the 6d and other systems, so feels different, but is uncannily accurate.
