Nikkor 35 mm 1:1.8 G DX and D7000

It will work indeed and although I don't have the d7000 it's a bloody good lens for the money on my little d3100. Fx and dx both explain the image circle size for dx (d3100-5100-7000-300) fx (600-700-800-3-4). It is ok to have a Fx lens on a crop sensored body as the image will completely fill the sensor(&some)
