I see his point, meaning the same 3rd party lenses have the same glass, AF motor, etc.

For example, one lens, like the new 24-70 from canon, may just have a better drive system then the Nikon, and so on.. But I think, when using the best Nikon lens against the best Canon lens, the test is fair..

But yes, I would love to know the accuracy rate.  If Canon does a 2 step, then it would be more accurate, but slower...
