Basiccolor Display 5 - How to evaluate calibration results and then make changes
5 months ago

I have an Asus PA246q monitor that I am trying to calibrate with a Spyder Express 3 puck and BasicColor Display 5 software. It may be irrelavent but I am using Lightroom 4 for post processing. My problem is that I go through the steps in the calibration process and end up with results that basically fail. A red X. How do I read the results to know what changes need to be made? I don't understand the presets and use the custom settings. BasicColor seems to push LAB though everything else I have ever read says to use Gamma 2.2. Any suggestions or tutorials that might educate me.
