Well, to paraphrase Forest Gump, sloppy is as sloppy does. But you're certainly not alone on the internet. I get the impression schools stopped teaching spelling and grammar about 20 years ago. Oh, and just btw, "grammatically" has two 'm's

The only browser that for me isn't horribly buggy is internet explorer. A spell check is something that I often find more annoying than constructive because the majority of my communication online is with friends where frankly, no one gives a damn.

Hmm. Wasn't there a study that showed IE users had lower IQ than....  No, that was a farce. Just kidding. Anyway, I find Firefox to be far more reliable than IE, but if no one gives a damn...

But I think the world would be a much better place if non-scientists understood more about science and the scientific method, and non-writers actually cared about the language they use to communicate. Your friends may not care, but you'll soon find the employers most definitely do.
