is the d7000 an old camera?

guys guys guys, what happened here?

i had the impression that it started as good opinions.

me saying that i am not going to shoot weddings or sports that means that i am not taking it as a profession.

it my kids are running or riding there bikes out side then i will take some photos and now and then a good old fashion celebration.

why do i want to get the 7000 instead of the 5100 i don't know, i have been looking at this beauty for some time and i think that if i get the 5100 i may get disappointed of some of the pics that need more technique and good eye instead of 1000+ camera.

about the lens, i think that i will go with the 35mm f/1.8G instead of the D, i know about the 7000 having a motor but that will help.

i want to get more lens with zoom capabilities but at the moment i can't, i want to great lenses but they cost more and i want to develop my techniques and have more money to buy them.
