Re: Roughness developed in lens turn on/turn off.

Into the second day of my new P7700 and sitting quietly with the instruction book going through various settings when unexpectedly the lens made a rough almost grinding noise when it was turned on and a sort of jumpy/bumpy noise when turning off.
Wondering has anyone else had a similar experience please ?
Fortunately I bought it from a local dealer (not online) so guess Ill be OK if it comes to warranty,
