What I see is definitely not chromatic aberration which would manifest itself by colored fringes of specific colors (cyan/yellow or red/blue) around the edges of objects (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatic_aberration for an explaination of this lens imperfection).

One possibility (not linked to lens quality) could also be blur due to camera shake, but as there are no exif informations embedded in the files nor shutter speeds given in your description it is difficult to confirm.

I also observed this kind of halo around light colored objects on old lenses not optimized for digital (it was due to reflection between sensor and back element of the lens), but this should not be the case for the 50mm f/1.4G.
