Olympus E-PL5 screen and focus time

I had posted this in the Oly compact forum but was suggested to me I post over here.

Considering purchasing an E-PL5 but unfortunately can't get my hands on one to check it out. Asking input from owners as to the screen in bright sunlight (is it still viewable) and focus time/lag (comparable to DSLR time)? Any info will be appreciated.
