Re: An AMD APU System

The original poster seemed interested in building an AMD system. Cutting some costs I end up with:

AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core --> 119.99

ASRock FM2A85X Extreme6 FM2 AMD A85X --> 94.99

Crucial CT2KIT51264BA160B 8GB Kit (4GBx2), 240-pin DIMM --> 79.98

Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" --> 109.99

Antec Three Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower --> 69.99

CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified --> 69.99

ASUS Black Blu-ray Burner SATA BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS --> 59.99

- 40.00 in mail-in rebates

Total --> 604.92

A modern AMD system that can make Blue-Rays. None of these components are open-box. There should be no problems running Lightroom 4, Photoshop CS6, DVD or Blue-Ray burning, or any HD video-editing software.
