i'm certainly in the minority here, but i prefer the first one. the composition and the shapes and lines are just aesthetically pleasing at a very fundamental level. the middle two are nice, but i could probably take those shots. the last one is one of those street shots that anyone can get if they run around with a camera for enough hours in a city.

i don't have the talent for the first one. that's the one i love the most! great job.

I have to laugh here.   That thought "I could probably take those shots" often comes to mind when looking at other's work, and how easy or difficult that might be to take on might be the next personal challenge to take on.  GMTA?  [g]

The first was easy - though I've been here many times before and never noted that particular vantage.   Seeing is the hardest part.   But here it was easier to see than at other times because the area was not teeming with visitors to the restaurant area this was taken from, and the lighting was different (there were no ground/street lights along this area of the shore due to Sandy still).

Thanks for your thoughts.
